Do you regularly face data that you would like to understand better or help others with this task? Or perhaps work with statistical or AI models that give you predictions that you don’t understand? Data visualization is an effective means to identify patterns in your data and develop an understand of what is there and what is not there.
However, creating great visualizations can be challenging. It requires technical skills to use (programming) tools in the right way, knowledge of effective design, and some understanding of human cognition.
You are in luck today, because Prof. Katrien Verbert and AIDA’s Prof. Jefrey Lijffijt are going to teach you how to do this! Organized by the post-university education centre of KU Leuven, you can join our 4-day intense course Visualization for and with AI, in May-June 2025. You will learn (hands-on!) the basics of visualization design, perception, interaction, and state of the art in using visualization tools to produce insights into data and AI models of different types.
