The AIDA-IDLab-research group is offering a fully-funded 4-year PhD position in the context of the Inductive methods for dimensionality reduction and visualization of large & complex data project with Prof. Jefrey Lijffijt as principal investigator.
Eligible candidates hold a Master’s degree and demostrate mastery of the following core aspects of machine learning: fundamentals of probability and statistics, algorithm design, discrete/continuous optimisation, and programming (in Python, C++/Java, JavaScript, …). Experience with data visualization, user interfaces, and/or cell biology is a plus.
