Ask a question about national politics and get an answer directly from the source with KamerRaad!
Within the AIDA research group at Ghent University, we explore how AI can have a positive impact on society. That’s why, over the past few months, we built KamerRaad, an AI system that can answer questions about national politics in a reliable and transparent way.
KamerRaad can be found at kamerraad.org
KamerRaad searches through parliamentary sources such as reports from plenary sessions and summarizes the relevant passages for you. If desired, you can directly click through to the original document. This time, you will be armed with a better understanding of the context in which a certain passage is situated.
Currently, KamerRaad can only retrieve the documents that are most relevant to your question. KamerRaad is not yet capable of further reasoning about these sources or engaging in a conversation.
In the future, KamerRaad will also be able to process all sources together into a coherent answer to your question. This will enable you to engage in a conversation with the data from our federal parliament, De Kamer!
For now, KamerRaad only uses data from plenary sessions. Gradually, we will also make reports from committee meetings and parliamentary resolutions accessible.
Visit kamerraad.org and ask your questions! Feel free to let us know what you think by emailing alexander.rogiers@ugent.be. This way, you help us make AI more useful for everyone!
Your questions and interactions will be tracked to enable further research. Never share personal information!
